Davey Boy Smith Jr., a former World Wrestling Entertainment (WWE) superstar, saved a young woman who threatened to take her life by jumping off a bridge in Canada.

Harry Smith, the wrestler's real name, posted on Facebook his life-changing act last Sunday. In the post, he said that everything was possible thanks to his training as a grappler in the wrestling ring. In one of the photos he shared on his Facebook account, Smith was seen pinning the suicidal girl to the ground and not letting her move at all.

The British-Canadian's swift act of bravery was confirmed by the authorities through a report on Global News. Once the woman's identity was confirmed, she was then taken to the hospital for further mental health evaluation and assistance.

Smith said that he just got past Bowness Road in Calgary while driving up 16^th avenue when he saw the girl who was a complete emotional wreck. The wrestler knew that her gestures were leading to suicide as she was standing off the edge a bridge.

"With people on the ground waving her not to jump I decided to grab a hold of her and not take any chances. She started to slide and want to go more as I grabbed a hold her. Luckily with my years of grappling and self defense I knew how to grab her HARD and how to pull her up from hanging off and jumping," Smith wrote on his post. He added that the woman told him she was carrying a gun, which made the former wrestler even more adamant on keeping her pinned to the ground.

"The British Bulldog," as he is nicknamed in the WWE, thanked his fans for all the positive comments and reactions he received on his post. At length, the wrestler said that life is precious and being given the opportunity to save one meant more than winning a championship belt in the WWE.
