Just as it was previously promised, Epic Games has released an extensive and comprehensive set of notes that detail the changes that will be coming for their massive multiplayer online third-person shooter video game, "Fortnite: Battle Royale." These changes will be affecting majority of the game's mechanics, from the in-game user experience down to the social experience.

In a report by GameSpot, apart from the incoming addition to player customization and other cosmetics, the developers have addressed the issue regarding the social aspect of the game. There have been complaints in the past about how difficult it can be sometimes for players to search for their friends online. This is largely due to a less intuitive social interface compared to other video games and platforms.

"We are working on making it easier to play again with people you had a great game with, make new friends, and import your friends lists from other social networks," stated Epic Games. This is something they had to address due to the constant growth in concurrent players that the game is currently experiencing. According to WCCF Tech, "Fortnite: Battle Royale" has been downloaded at an estimated 20 million times as of now.

One of the biggest issues that will be addressed is that of team killing. It became a rampant problem due to the features of the game being difficult to use as well. This has made the whole community preservation process slow, and it is also why abusive players continue to run rampant. Epic Games stated that the reports system "isn't straightforward to use, and doesn't let you know whether we took action or not."

According to PC Games N, the developers will be giving the map a major overhaul, spreading more loot around the map to keep things interesting for players. In addition to that, the developers also promised to bring forth new weapons and new mechanics that will improve the shooting mechanics of the game by reducing the instances of random bullet spread to zero.

There has been no confirmed date as to when the updates will be released.
