"Fortnite's" "Battle Royale" mode gets another update that brings a fancy, jiggling grenade to the game.

According to Comicbook, the latest update to "Fortnite's" "Battle Royale" feature was released on Saturday, Dec. 23 at 11 a.m. Eastern Time. The update brought the "Boogie Bomb," a new item that matches the game's holiday theme.

In their official update, Epic Games describe the "Boogie Bomb" as just a normal grenade. But, when it is thrown, any players inside the bomb's radius will be forced to dance boogie. Players are then prevented from building, using items, and firing weapons for a short period of time. The "Boogie Bomb" can be found in treasure chests and supply drops. The "Boogie Bomb" update requires no manual updates from players. Players can also expect no downtime with "Fortnite" servers.

A new "Limited Time" event for "Fortnite" titled "High Explosives" will also be available starting Thursday, Dec. 28. This will be an explosive event, with players limited only to using weapons such as the "Snowball Launcher," "Rocket Launcher," and grenades. Regular consumables such as bandages, med kits, shield potions, slurp juice, and "The Bush" will still be available in the event. Traps will be disabled, however. "Fortnite's" "High Explosive" limited time event will end on Tuesday, Jan. 2.

Elsewhere, Epic Games also released an update for "Fortnite" earlier this month. Update 1.10 for the game was released on Dec. 7 and brought many new improvements for the game as promised. Update 1.10 focused on improving the performance of the computer's central processing unit (CPU), as well as numerous bug fixes for "Fortnite."

It also brought changes to the game's inventory user interface or "UI." Epic Games noted that the update to the UI will help ease a lot of pain for mouse players and controller players alike. "Fortnite's" update 1.10 also brought four new "Save the World" mode heroes for the game for free for Xbox One players.
