"Forza Horizon 3" is getting a new expansion focused on the classic Hot Wheels brand, bringing in exciting new cars and tracks for players to enjoy.

According to reports, Mattel's iconic collectible toy cars are heading to "Forza Horizon 3" for the game's next expansion pack. Microsoft has announced that the new content does not just include a handful of playable cars. Aside from original Hot Wheels cars such as Twin Mill, Rip Rod, and Bone Shaker, players will also have the chance to race on courses based on the Hot Wheels orange tracks. This means that gamers can try out looping and twisting racetracks by using the new Stunt Swap feature in the game.

Six new themed islands situated off the Australian coast can be explored in the Hot Wheels expansion. All of those islands are connected by a network of visually impressive Hot Wheels tracks placed hundreds of feet in the air. Additionally, fans will be able to experience classic Hot Wheels configurations such as corkscrews, loops, and more.

"This is stunt driving at its most extreme, where you can master tracks by performing brand new Hot Wheels skills that make use of boost pads, high-bank turns, half-pipes, insane jumps, and even giant mechanical dinosaurs," the official description reads.

Fans can grab the Hot Wheel expansion as part of the "Forza Horizon 3" Expansion Pass. It can also be purchased as a standalone downloadable content for $19.99. The add-ons include some popular classic models such as the 1969 Hot Wheels Twin Mill and the 1972 Chrysler VH Valiant Charger R/T E49. Of course, the majority of the lineup is made up of more sleek and modern cars including the 2005 Hot Wheels Ford Mustang, the 2007 Toyota Hilux Arctic Trucks AT38, the 2010 Pagani Zonda R, the 2011 Hot Wheels Bone Shaker, the 2012 Hot Wheels Rip Rod, the 2016 Jeep Trailcat, and the 2016 Zenvo ST1.

The Hot Wheels expansion will be accessible in the game starting May 9.

Developed by Playground Games and published by Microsoft Studios, "Forza Horizon 3" is exclusively available for Xbox One and Windows PC platforms.
