'Forza Horizon 3' release date: PC requirements and achievements confirmed; 'Halo' players enjoy Warthog vehicle free

"Forza Horizon 3" has gone gold and will arrive on Sept. 27. Microsoft also revealed the PC requirements needed to run the game as well as its achievements. As an additional surprise for "Halo" fans, the company is throwing in the 2554 AMG Transport Dynamics M12S CST, commonly known as the Warthhog. However, since this is a civilian version, gun turret is not included.

"Forza Horizon 3" for the PC will be requiring, at least, an Intel Core i7 3820 @ 3.6 GHz, 12GB of RAM, an NVIDIA GTX 970/ GTX 1060 or AMD R9 290X/RX 480 – with 4GB VRAM, 55GB of HDD space, DirectX 12 and Windows 10 Anniversrary Edition, 64-bit, build 14393.101.

The upcoming game will be able to support 4K resolution, and contains a truckload of adjustment options, like, "full screen, vertical sync, and resolution, to more advanced adjustments like quality settings for motion blur, mirrors, reflection, static and dynamic geometry."

There are also a lot of Xbox Live Achievements available for the game. Some of which are Welcome to Your Horizon, You're the Boss, One of Us, Stay on Target, You're Hired, and You're Fired. Fans are suggested to check out the official website of the game for the complete list.

"Halo" fans will also get to have the Warthhog as an added bonus. Gamers who have played "Halo 5: Guardians" or "Halo: The Master Chief Collection" on the Xbox One will receive a download code during the week of Sept. 5. Fans are advised to check their Xbox Live Message for the promo code. Additionally, players with no 'Halo" Xbox One games will have a chance to own the can still own the 720-bhp twin turbo V8 transport vehicle. A special "Forza Horizon" event will happen on Oct. 3.

The Warthhog is just one of the more than 350 vehicles included in the upcoming game. Players will also be able to use driving wheels for the PC, and a Windows 10 driver update will be released on a later date, VG247 added.

"Forza Horizon 3" is slated for relese on Sept. 27 for Xbox One and Windows 10, while Ultimate Edition owners will have the game ready by Sept. 23.
