'Forza Motorsport 6' new cars update: 41 new automobiles plus new track

More cars coming to "Forza Motorsport 6" have now been officially revealed.

An additional 41 new cars have now been confirmed for the game. Of these, 21 are also Ford automobiles, giving players more opportunities to experience what it is like to get behind the wheel of vehicles from the notable carmaker.

The oldest of the newly confirmed Ford models coming to the game is the 1940 Deluxe Coupe. At the opposite end of the spectrum is a tie between the 2011 Ford F-150 SVT Raptor and the Ford Transit SuperSportVan, according to Game Informer.

The recently revealed Ford additions to the game don't just account for the 40s and today's generation, as "Forza Motorsport 6" will also be featuring Ford models from all the decades in between. Some cars of particular note from these median decades include the Ford 1956 F-100, the 1969 Boss 302, the 1978 Mustang II King Cobra, the 1985 RS200 Evolution, the 1993 SVT Mustang Cobra R, and the 2007 Shelby GT500.

As for cars from other automobile makers, Mitsubishi has two models of their own included in the latest batch, with the 1995 Eclipse GSX and the 2008 Lancer Evolution X GSR.

Luxury cars are also included in the latest batch of confirmed cars for "Forza Motorsport 6." In this regard, the video game is including automobiles for some notable heavy hitters, including the 2004 Maserati MC12, the 2014 Alfa Romeo 4C, the 2008 Lamborghini Reventon, and last but not least, the 1969 Ferrari Dino 246 GT.

"Forza Motorsport 6" will also be featuring a new track. Its latest addition is none other than Connecticut's Lime Rock Park, according to IGN

Lime Rock Park was opened all the way back in 1957, and it has been the heartbeat of the New England racing scene ever since it first opened.

"Forza Motorsport 6" will be released on Xbox One on Sept. 15. By that time, the game will have 450 cars and 26 different locations for players to try out.
