Reverend Franklin Graham is continuing to speak out on such raging issues as the persecution of Christians and same-sex marriage.

On his Facebook page, the American evangelist focused on Asia Bibi, the Christian woman who is languishing in a Pakistani prison because of her beliefs.

"It is hard to believe that Asia Bibi was sentenced to death for drinking water from the same cup used by her Muslim co-workers in Pakistan," he said. "This is life under Sharia law. There are so many Christians around the world who are suffering right now because of their faith. For every story we hear in the news, there are multitudes more who are persecuted or killed because of the Name of Christ. Pray for Asia Bibi and for all Christians living in Muslim countries."

Sadly, Bibi might not even survive until her execution day arrives since her health has reportedly taken a turn for the worse. Sources said the Christian woman has begun coughing up blood and is currently too weak to eat. Bruce Allen of Forgotten Missionaries International said an appeal has been filed at the Supreme Court in Pakistan for her release on medical grounds, but so far no new information has been released on the status of her case.

Also on his Facebook page, Graham warned about God's judgment on those who advocated for same-sex marriage, which is now legal throughout the United States following a milestone US Supreme Court ruling last week.

"'Pride goeth before a fall.' Supreme Court Justice Scalia used Proverbs 16:18 in his comments regarding the court's disappointing and dangerous ruling about same-sex marriage," wrote Graham. "He rightly called the decision 'a threat to the American democracy.' This is so true. Arrogantly disregarding God's authority always has serious consequences. Our nation will not like what's at the end of this rainbow," Graham said.
