There is no word yet on whether 'Frozen' will get a sequel but that doesn't mean the characters cannot appear even on short films. And apparently that will be the case as Frozen fans can catch the leading characters from the famed Disney movie when Cinderella hits screens this coming March.

The short animated film will be directed by Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee, bringing back Anna, Elsa, Sven, Kristoff and Olaf among others. The film will apparently reveal a new song from Robert Lopez and Kristen Anderson-Lopez, the same duo who were behind the hit single "Let It Go".

As for the gist of the short segment, it will center entirely on Anna's birthday celebration. Elsa and Kristoff will try to plan a party for her but a problem arises when Elsa catches a cold.

And considering that the snow queen Elsa is gifted with unusual abilities, the result of catching a cold becomes a problem for everyone on Frozen Fever.

The short seven minute animated segment could be one of many succeeding short film segments, potentially offering more songs that certainly be awaited by captivated fans from the hit film from Disney.

 As far as a sequel is concerned, there is no word on whether there would be one and when it would possibly come out. And from the looks of it, Disney may stick to the short film approach at least for now.

The short film segment is scheduled to come out by March 13, 2015, the same time where the live-action feature Cinderella will hit cinemas.
