Ever since Disney has officially confirmed the sequel to the blockbuster animated film "Frozen," many theories and speculations have circulated online.

Three among the popular possible plotlines for "Frozen 2" include the Tangled/Tarzan crossover, Elsa's backstory, and Elsa's death.

The Tangled/Tarzan crossover theory is not a new one; in fact, just shortly after the movie was released, theories of the crossover spread quickly online.

The speculation originated from the fact that "Tangled's" Rapunzel and Flynn were spotted at Elsa's coronation party. A fan theory even claimed that Rapunzel is the cousin of the sisters from Arendelle.

Furthermore, there was the theory that Tarzan could be Elsa and Anna's brother, born in the remote jungle when their parents survived the shipwreck.

A report from MoviePilot, however, refuted the idea, stating that both "Tarzan" and "Frozen" took place during different eras.

Director Chris Buck, on the other hand, thought the crossover was a great idea, as noted in the same report.

Buck was even quoted saying in MTV news: "So in my little head, Anna and Elsa's brother is Tarzan. That's my fun little world."

Another theory surrounding the "Frozen" sequel claims that it will focus Elsa's backstory and how she got her powers, while her sister didn't get any.

This speculation came from The Venture Capital's report, where it stated that Eva Bella, who voiced young Elsa, revealed she will be joining the cast once again.

This suggests that Elsa's backstory will be given focus. However, she could meet her demise in the end when a much stronger villain comes, as rumors suggested.

None of the abovementioned plotlines have been confirmed; fans will just have to wait for the official word from Disney.

Meanwhile, a faux trailer of "Frozen 2" shown below has been released by BloodBlitz Comedy with Elsa depicted as a cold-blooded villain.

If Elsa will be that evil, maybe "Frozen 2" would not be appropriate for children.
