'Frozen' 2 movie sequel still far off as Disney set to focus on spin-offs; Kristen Bell 'forever' ready for a follow-up

Most of Disney's plans concerning the smash hit animated musical film "Frozen" are still undisclosed. However, media outlets have been reporting that the global corporation is planning to work on a 2015 short film for the blockbuster movie, which will be known as "Walt Disney's Frozen 2" of "Frozen Fever." It is rumored that the same cast and crew will return to make the short film happen.

However, Air Herald has recently reported that a follow-up is nothing but isolated. The film is a record-breaking feat, snagging a whopping $1.2 billion for Disney across the globe. Bearing this in mind, an abrupt sequel might thwart the excitement of the mammoth fanbase who are considering the possibility. This only means that a hasty continuation of the epic animation will only become an unsuccessful attempt in maintaining the enormous reception.

In a nutshell, Disney is buying more time to prepare for another full-scale release. For the moment, the titanic company is transforming the standalone film into a franchise. In 2015, this is where "Frozen Fever" comes to show. It won't be a motion picture though, but rather a sing-a-long.

It has been a year since "Frozen" hit the silver screen but its hype simply heaps on, and Disney is only capitalizing the big accomplishment. Just this fall, an ice skating show called "Disney Presents Frozen on Ice" with 39 people on board has hit the road.

Although Princess Anna and Queen Elsa are still miles away from gracing the big screen again, Kristen Bell, who gave Anna's beautiful voice in the film, is looking forward to doing it again. In fact, the 34-year-old actress loves it so much that she is "forever" ready for it. Bell told Entertainment Tonight Online that her dream of being a Disney princess was made flesh because of "Frozen."

"That was the thing I wanted to do at 5 years old more than anything—'I want to be a Disney princess!'" Bell said.

Along with Kristen Bell, fans can expect Idina Menzel (Elsa), Jonathan Groff (Kristoff) and Josh Gad (Olaf) to reprise their much-adored roles.
