Alan Thicke lands a guest starring role in the sophomore season of "Fuller House."

The "Growing Pains" alum, who portrayed the role of psychiatrist Jason Seaver announced his participation on the show on Twitter, teasing that a possible crossover for the two popular sitcoms could be in the works.

This will not be the first time that a member of the Seaver family will visit the Tanners. In 1988, Kirk Cameron, the actor who portrays the role of Mike Seaver in "Growing Pains," appeared in "Full House" as one of the Tanner family's cousins. Cameron is the real-life brother of Candace Cameron-Bure, the actress who portrays the role of D.J. Tanner Fuller in the series.

Thicke is just one of the upcoming guest stars for the second season of the "Full House" revival on Netflix, just like what cast member and producer John Stamos said in an interview with E! News back in April.

"There are a few guest stars that could be surprises for everybody that I'm working on, but as far as the show, we're just in a better place to make a good, solid sitcom now," the actor, who portrays the role of Uncle Jesse in the show, revealed.

Cameron-Bure also talked about the upcoming cameos in an interview with Popsugar.

"We have some amazing cameos this year. Just because season one did so incredibly well, there are a lot of people that are really excited to be a part of this show," she said.

The actress also revealed that most of the cast will return to the Netflix reboot for its second season, including Stamos, Bob Saget, Dave Coulier and Lori Loughlin. She also teased that more flashback moments will be featured in the upcoming season.

Netflix has yet to announce the official release date of "Fuller House" season 2.
