The fate of Netflix's original series "Fuller House" has not been revealed until January 29th, when the streaming network announced that the series has been renewed for a fourth season.

The decision to renew the spinoff to the 1987 show came just a month after the second part of season three concluded. The renewal will finally see what happens after the big reveal that Kimmy Gibbler (Andrea Barber) has become a surrogate mother for Stephanie (Jodie Sweetin) and Jimmy (Adam Hagenbuch).

The fate of the show seemed to be up in the air after the final season, with actress Candace Cameron, who plays the show's protagonist D.J. Tanner-Fuller says she has no idea whether the show was coming back. She spoke about "Fuller House's" seemingly uncertain future on the YouTube channel Feeling the Vibe.

"So everybody keeps asking me if 'Fuller House' is coming back for season 4, and [you guys] seriously, I don't really know," she said "obviously we all want to come back, so we're hoping we are going to hear something, and of course I'm going to tell you guys as soon as we do, or don't."

And it looks like the cast is going back to work soon, based on Netflix's announcement.

"Fuller House" is a sequel to the 1987 television sitcom "Full House" by Jeff Franklin for ABC. The new series focuses on the struggles of widowed mother D.J. Tanner-Fuller, who is a veterinarian and a mother of three sons, who live together with her sister and her best friend (and her daughter) in her childhood home in San Fransisco.

The initial season was created by Netflix consisting of thirteen episodes and was released worldwide on February 20, 2016. Despite mixed reviews, the series was renewed for a second season which released on December 24, 2016. Season 2 found better reviews than the first and was ordered for 18 episodes. It was split into two nine-episode parts which aired in September 22, 2017 and December 22, 2017 respectively.

"Fuller House" is produced by Miller-Boyett Productions and Jeff Franklin Productions in association with Warner Horizon Television for Netflix.
