The anime director, who worked on anime like "Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood," "Scorching Ping Pong Girls" and Code: Breaker," announced that he will launch a Kickstarter campaign on Friday, Oct. 20.

The crowdsourcing is to allow his manga "Halloween Pajama" be adapted into a 20-minute anime. The proposed anime will be titled "Halloween Pajama in Seattle: The Dream Catcher." Additionally, the animated project will be a musical that will feature its cast and characters doing musical numbers. The production is set to finish by December 2018.

The campaign will also target companies that are looking to fund the anime project.
