Gal Gadot has been receiving a lot of flak from fans regarding her casting as Wonder Woman. Many critics state that her frame does not match that of the superhero's. The acress/ fashion model addressed the comments during an interview with Robot Underdog

When asked what critics say about her, she commented, "They said that I was too skinny and my boobs were too small."

"When I was younger I would take criticism really hard. But now it mostly amused me," she answered when asked if the comments offended her. " ... I can take anything. It's just empty talk. I can understand that part of what I'm doing means being exposed. And part of being exposed is being under fire."

Gadot is no stranger to stunt work and action flicks. She won the Miss Israeli pageant in 2004 and served the Israeli military for two years right after winning the crown. After modeling for several years, she was cast in 2009's "Fast & Furious," the fourth in the franchise, and its two sequels.

To show fans that she is really taking the role seriously, Gadot reportedly got back into a regular gym schedule to work on her physique. She posted recent photos on her official Facebook page confirming that she has been building her frame up and now resembles the Wonder Woman in the DC New 52 comics.

The 29-year-old beauty queen will appear in a cameo role as the female superhero in 2016's "Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice" led by Henry Cavill as Superman and Ben Affleck as Batman, followed by her own solo flick and the "Justice League" film.

She is also set to appear in two other high-profile films scheduled for a 2015 release: "Criminal" and "Triple Nine," the latter helmed by John Hillcoat, director of "The Road" and "Lawless."
