Folks eager to finally get their hands on Samsung's Galaxy S7 will reportedly be able to put in their pre-orders starting next week.

Specifically, the pre-orders for the new phone are expected to go live on Feb. 21, according to a report from Android World.

Both the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge are reportedly being made available for pre-orders on that aforementioned date.

The pre-orders are reportedly going live on the very same day that Samsung is expected to officially unveil their new flagship units.

Folks looking for pre-order deals from specific carriers such as AT&T and Verizon will have to wait a bit longer since details about those offers have yet to be given.

Still, as an added incentive for pre-ordering either the Galaxy S7 or the S7 Edge, the people who do so will reportedly also be receiving free Gear VR headsets from Samsung, although the promotion is only expected to last until March 10.

With just a few days to go before Samsung is expected to officially announce their new phones, people now have to decide whether these are units they actually want to get.

Thankfully, rumors that have emerged over the last few months have given people a decent idea on what they can expect from Samsung's latest offerings.

According to the rumors, both the Galaxy S7 and the S7 Edge will feature enhanced water-resistant capabilities.

Currently, the two phones are expected to offer internal storage options of 32 GB and 64 GB, although users will reportedly be given the opportunity to add extra memory by utilizing the returning microSD card slots.

The new phones are also believed to have enhanced batteries that should enable them to stay functional for up to two days. Wireless charging will also be a feature for both phones, according to Venture Beat.

New cameras for both phones are also expected to be included.
