With 20th Century Fox's "Gambit" movie finally making some progress, it is only a matter of time before casting announcements are made. With that in mind, a rumored casting breakdown has begun to circulate around the internet, giving everyone an idea of which characters, both ally and villain, will be in the mutant spinoff.

That Hashtag Show has revealed a list of character breakdowns for the solo movie. As is the case for many superhero films, the names on the list are codenames, but their descriptions can ring a bell for fans of the comics. Then again, these descriptions could be for new characters entirely, so fans will still have to wait and see.

Channing Tatum will be playing the titular card-carrying mutant, Remy LeBeau a.k.a. Gambit. Lea Seydoux was heavily rumored to be the female lead, Bella Donna Boudreaux, but the actress later on shut down those rumors, leaving the role open to anyone else.

Mariya: Female, Caucasian, in her mid-20's to her early 30's, and has to be 5"11 or taller. Mariya is also described to be stunning and willowy and speaks in fluent French or has a perfect French accent. It is also indicated that the role requires sequel options.

Mariya seems to be the code name for Bella Donna, Gambit's lover and member of the Assassin's Guild. The requiring sequel options would make sense since the romance between the characters and their feuding guilds will come front and center in the proposed Gambit film trilogy.

Then there is Lewis, who seems to be the code name for one Nathaniel Essex a.k.a. Mr. Sinister. Lewis is described as male, any ethnicity, within his 40's and 50's. Lewis is also described as elegant and intelligent, as well as an appealing businessman with a surprising dark side. Just like Mariya, the role of Lewis also requires sequel options.

Knowing that Mr. Sinister is one of the biggest villains in the X-Men comics, it only makes sense that the actor chosen to play the villain is up for a long-term commitment to the role. Fox is also said to cast a big name for this villain, such as James Bond actor Daniel Craig.

The next few character breakdowns perhaps refers to Bella Donna's family. Mrs. Stanton is described as an elegant older woman who is fluent in French and has a French accent. With that description in mind, Mrs. Stanton would be Bella Donna's mother and the head of the Assassin's Guild.

Nash described as a potent threat and heir to his mother's business as well as malevolent. Nash could be the code name for Bella Donna's brother Julien. Julien, in the comics, challenges Gambit to a duel and it is here where Gambit's powers first manifest.

Next is Magnus/Wolfgang. He is described as a French criminal who also speaks fluent French. He could be Bella Donna's father, Marius Boudreaux. Marius played an integral part in arranging Bella Donna's engagement to Remy in an attempt to bring peace between the Thieves' Guild and the Assassin's Guild.

Then there are also descriptions for Gambit's family. The character of Fritz seems to be Gambit's mentor as well as father figure Jean Luc LeBeau. Jean Luc helped turn Remy into the mutant he is eventually known to be. Fritz is described as a professional thief and a very charismatic con-artist. Like several of these breakdowns, this role also requires sequel options.

The character named Wesley seems to be Emil Lapin, Gambit's cousin who is also an engineer whose skills play an important part in Gambit's heists. Wesley is described as an aspirational but weak minded as well as soulful and sensitive.

These are just a few of the many character breakdowns that have been released, and should the speculation as to who these characters will be in the movie be true, then the solo outing should be something to get excited about.

"Gambit" is scheduled to premiere on Feb. 14, 2019.
