Winter is here, and it is right in Finland to be exact.

HBO Nordic and Lapland Hotels Snow Village have recently collaborated to launch a one-of-a-kind ice hotel based on the networks hugely successful "Game of Thrones" franchise.

The 20-room hotel was built on the village's 20,000 square meter area. The place consists mainly of snow and ice, which was delicately crafted by extremely talented ice sculptors from Russia, Ukraine, Latvia, and Poland and amazingly took only one month to complete.

There are a total of 24 rooms in the hotel, 10 of which are suites for guests who wish to make the most of their tour. Even the walls and the beds in each room and are made of ice, complete with a gigantic sculpture of a white walker looking down at the guest to make them feel that they are really staying beyond the wall. People who choose to stay should either be used to the cold or prepare a lot of warm clothes in order to adjust to the freezing temperature.

Guests who stay overnight in the suites wake up to a drink of hot berry juice and then a buffet breakfast in the restaurant.

Guests don't have to stay the night in order to enjoy the attractions, though, as tours for the snow village are available for €15 (£13).

Other areas of the hotel also take up after the show. It wouldn't be quite "Game of Thrones" without the Iron Throne, so they had a life-size replica built in the hotel's restaurant, along with a sculpture of The Mountain standing tall beside it. The restaurant offers a Finnish three-course meal which guests can enjoy.

The hotel even replicated the Hall of Faces in Braavos, where guests can marvel at the sight of the faces — all made of sculpted ice — adorning the walls. A chapel is also available for couples who wish to get married. It is furnished with a long table and chairs, all of which are also fashioned out of ice.

Other designs that surround the hotel are sculptures of dragons which can be found in the ice bar.

The hotel will only be open until April this year as summer is approaching, and, as Snow Village is known to change their theme every year, this means that there is only a little over three months for tourists to send a raven and book their stay.
