'Game of Thrones' season 5 episode 8 spoilers: Cersei humiliated, Jon reaches Hardhome

Game of Thrones - Lord Commander Jon SnowHBO

"Game of Thrones" season 5 is quickly picking up its pace, with every episode filled with game-changing events and revelations. Last week's episode, "The Gift," ended with Cersei imprisoned, Tyrion now in Daenerys' hands, and Jon heading out to the land of the Wildlings. Episode 8, "Hardhome," appears like it will continue this relentless pace.

According to the official synopsis, Arya is going to make an appearance and will make big leaps in her training in the House of Black and White. Fans of the books know that she will slowly become an assassin and may soon be able to take on the face of other people.

Sansa, who was betrayed by Theon Greyjoy/ Reek in the previous episode, confronts him for his betrayal and it is indicated that she will work together with an "old friend" who might be able to help her.

The episode's title, however, points directly to Jon Snow's journey to Hardhome, the land of the Wildlings. He will try to win them over and convince them to travel south of the Wall before the White Walkers and winter come. However, the promotional trailer indicates that things will not go well for the Lord Commander.

[Spoiler warning] Fans of the books will recall that the events in "A Song of Ice and Fire" played out differently but the end results may be the same. In the books, Jon was attacked by his fellow brothers of the Night's Watch, and it appears like he will also be attacked in the TV series but now, by the Wildlings.

According to a report from the IBTimes, "Hardhome" may also see Cersei's Walk of Shame, where the Queen Mother must walk the streets of King's Landing naked as punishment for incest with Lancel Lannister.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 episode 8, "Hardhome," is scheduled to air on May 31.
