Westeros continues to welcome new faces as HBO casts two new characters for "Game of Thrones" season 6. Essie Davis of "The Babadook" and Kevin Eldon of "Brass Eye" officially join the cast and are set to play a part in the series' play-within-a-show.

Titled "The Bloody Hand," the said King's Landing play is performed by a roving theater ensemble from Braavos. The new cast members will reportedly be a part of this acting troupe.

According to "GoT" fan site Watchers on the Wall, Davis will portray the role of Cersei Lannister, but not as a replacement for Lena Headey. Davis will portray Cersei in the staging of the comings and goings in King's Landing. The name of Davis' character is unknown but the casting descriptions acquired by the aforementioned publication reveal that she will be a "fun, charismatic, rum-drinking actress."

Meanwhile, Watchers on the Wall also reported that Eldon will be joining the HBO rating behemoth. The comedian, who appeared in films such as "Big Train" and "Knowing Me Knowing You with Alan Partridge," will take on the role of the troupe's manager. In the same casting description, it is revealed that Eldon's character is a "flamboyant caricaturist" and a "larger-than-life leader of a troupe of actors" who is apparently notorious for portraying drunken aristocrats without a glitch.

"Downton Abbey" alum Richard E. Grant, who was confirmed to join "GoT" season 6 days before Davis' inclusion was announced, will also play a role as one of the members of the theater troupe.

When "Game of Thrones" season 6 airs next year, Davis, Eldon and Grant will be seen sharing some screen time with other previously confirmed stars, namely Max von Sydow (Three-Eyed Raven), Ian McShane (unidentified role), Freddie Stroma (Dickon Tarly) and Pilou Asbæk (Euron Greyjoy).
