Last week, "Game of Thrones" released its first poster for season 6 which features Jon Snow (Kit Harington) looking down at the ground, and the former Lord Commander of the Night's Watch has a smear of blood on the left side of his nose.

While the poster appeared to confirm that Jon is alive and well, there were a lot of questions as to how he was brought back to life, since the season five finale of the HBO series saw him being stabbed several times by members of the Watch.

There have been some theories as to how Jon was resurrected, and one of the most persistent involves Melisandre (Carice van Houten). Watchers on the Wall reports that van Houten's scenes were all shot in secret, and the website claims that it is likely that Melisandre was there for Jon's resurrection and that she used her magic to bring him to life. It was also reported that the ball on a stick used for Jon's CGI direwolf, Ghost, was present for scenes.

The website reports that since Jon is not the Lord Commander anymore, the new season will see a new leader who will be leading the Night's Watch. The new Lord Commander is said to be someone who has been around for several seasons, and WoW speculates that Alliser Thorne (Owen Teale) is the most likely person who will lead the Watch.

Meanwhile, Los Siete Reinos (via Watchers on the Wall) reported that multiple scenes were filmed in Northern Ireland on Friday, Nov. 27. According to L7R's sources, the scenes that were filmed were Castle Black scenes, a scene which included the White Walkers, and several scenes in the Three-Eyed Raven's cave.

Watcher on the Wall's sources said that scenes were also being filmed at Banbridge involving the Unsullied, and the website says that Emilia Clarke may also be in those scenes as she was spotted heading back to work on the hit series last month.

"Game of Thrones" returns in April 2016 on HBO.
