A new "Game of Thrones" trailer was released on Valentine's Day. The clip hints at the death of key characters in the series. Now, ahead of the season 6 premiere, fans are questioning whether some favorites will be making it as familiar faces, some dead and some alive, are seen in the ominous teaser.

The clip opens to the Hall of Faces, which Arya (Maisie Williams) saw back in the season 5 finale while training to be No One.

The camera pans to Ned Stark's (Sean Bean) face, and his voice is heard saying, "The man who passes the sentence…swing the sword." Catelyn Stark (Michelle Fairley) is seen as well, and the matriarch, who was killed in the infamous Red Wedding, says, "Show them how it feels…to lose someone they love."

Joffrey (Jack Gleeson), who was killed in his own wedding, says, "Everyone is mine to torment."

Jon Snow (Kit Harington), whose fate is still unknown after the events of the season 5 finale, is seen next as his voice warns that the long night is coming.

The camera then focuses on Tyrion Lannister's (Peter Dinklage) face, before zooming out to reveal the faces of Arya, Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke), Sansa Stark (Sophie Turner), and Jamie Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau).

The new teaser is just one among several promos that were released this month. Last week, 26 new images were released on the "Game of Thrones" official website, and one particular photo of Sansa made fans speculate that the character might be pregnant.

Back in season 5, Sansa was raped by her husband, Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon) before she escaped by jumping off the castle walls with Theon (Alfie Allen). In the shot, Sansa is seen standing outside in the snow and wearing a grey dress. Her midsection appears to be fuller, and while no details were given along with the photos, it is possible that she could be pregnant with Ramsay's child.

Last month, Turner said that this season will bring a big change for her character as Sansa finally gets the respect that she deserves.

"It's probably her best season yet," the actress told Entertainment Weekly. "She, this season, really commands the respect that she deserves and she grabs hold of it and she runs with it and it's really good."

"Game of Thrones" returns on April 24 on HBO.
