When "Game of Thrones" season 6 hits the small screen, fans will see Margaery hang out with a new "sparring partner." The character's essayer Natalie Dormer has dished in an interview for her new movie "The Forest" about Margaery's fate moving forward.

When the new season starts, she will still be in prison but it won't be long before she sees the light of day again. With Cersei brought to the Keep after her much talked about walk of shame last season, Margaery will be sharing the screen with a rather unlikely individual.

"The beauty of 'Game of Thrones' is it's always making these unlikely pairings from one season to the next. We all, season to season, get thrown in with a new sparring partner. And I've actually had a new sparring partner this season," the actress said (via Time).

Dormer also promised that the show's creators David Benioff and DB Weiss are going big and bold for the new season of the HBO rating juggernaut so expect several shockers here and there.

Markedly, "Game of Thrones" season 6 will be the first run of the show without a tangible book from the "A Song of Ice and Fire" series by George R.R. Martin to follow. It was supposed to be taken away from the sixth installment "The Winds of Winter" but the book is still not ready for publication.

The good news is that Martin is still very much involved in the making of this season. "They're not completely absent of George's influence because George is a producer on the show, and they all had a pow-wow a couple of years ago," Dormer explained.

"They know where it's got to go and what George's intentions for the characters are. But they are just filling in the gaps," the actress assured. Nevertheless, it still remains a mystery what the future has in store for the people of Westeros.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres April next year.
