'Game of Thrones' season 6 spoilers: Actress Natalie Dormer teases Margaery's prison break

Queen Margaery Tyrell (Natalie Dormer) was last seen in "Game of Thrones" back in season 5 when she was accused by the High Sparrow (Jonathan Pryce) of lying about her brother's sexuality and then later thrown into prison. However, Dormer recently spoke with Women's Health and teased about Margaery's prison break.

"Margaery is a savvy chick and she's trying to find an angle - she's trying to find a way to get out of that cell, so it's pretty amusing and ingenious, the route she decides to take," Dormer explains, hinting that Margaery will be scheming a new ruse in order to break out of prison.

According to a report from Vanity Fair, it is also less likely that she will be going the same route that Queen Cersei (Lena Headey) took to get out of prison. Cersei went through the walk of shame and confessed to some of her crimes in order to leave. She will then undergo a trial by combat with Ser Robert Strong as her champion.

In the books the series is based on, Margaery's fate is still unknown. Her last request was to undergo a Trial by Faith instead of a Trial by Combat. However, it appears that the TV series will deviate a little and utilize a more complex strategy than that to set her free.

Watchers on the Wall reported back in September that scenes filmed on set seem to suggest Jaime Lannister (Nikolaj Coster-Waldau) will be leading an army of Tyrell soldiers to the Sept of Baelor to force Margaery free, only to be greeted by the High Sparrow who willingly gives Margaery back.

The only problem, according to the report, is that Margaery may have been mentally broken and may have converted to their religion. However, it is still speculated that this is merely a ploy in order to get out of prison quickly.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres in Spring 2016.
