With George RR Martin's revelation that "Game of Thrones" season 6 will premiere before the sixth "A Song of Ice and Fire" installment, "The Winds of Winter," releases, fans have to prepare themselves for some spoilers.

Martin admits in his blog that the show moved "faster than I anticipated" and making it worse is the fact that he worked "more slowly" in writing the books. He reasons that his inability to meet deadlines, distractions, bad days and even his age all contributed to the delay.

"Given where we are, inevitably, there will be certain plot twists and reveals in season six of 'Game of Thrones' that have not yet happened in the books," the award-winning writer said. However, he emphasized that the so-called "The Winds of Winter" spoilers from may not be real spoilers.

"Some of the 'spoilers' you may encounter in season six may not be spoilers at all... because the show and the books have diverged, and will continue to do so," Martin explained, adding that for the first time, viewers will be ahead of the readers.

When "Game of Thrones" season 6 returns, Bran Stark will be all grown up. Actor Isaac Hempstead-Wright, who plays Bran, teased that his character will have greater control of his prophetic dreams.

The show will take fans to "very important events in the past, present and future of this world and Bran is beginning to piece them together like a detective," the actor told Entertainment Weekly, adding, "Being able to tap into his abilities, Bran will soon discover that he could be an important figure in the Great War."

Bran has grown up when fans see him in "Game of Thrones" season 6. The Three-Eyed Raven will also be older and will be played by acting legend Max Von Sydow. Hempstead-Wright had nothing but praises for his big-time co-star.
