The countdown for the much awaited season 5 of "Game of Thrones" has begun. The fifth season is set to premiere 11 days from now, and HBO is revving up the fans by releasing a couple of new trailers.

The first of the two new trailers shows various scenes featuring different characters. There is Melisandre sacrificing something to the red god while lighting a fire. She has talked about this kind of sacrifice in the previous seasons — a sacrifice needed to help Stannis Baratheon get the Iron Throne.

There is Tyrion Lannister on a boat setting his eyes on a dragon. This clearly shows that he will be with Daenerys soon enough. Also, there is a shot of Jorah Mormont in the arena, and Brienne of Tarth fighting on horseback.

In the first video, Daenerys can be heard talking about how the Lannisters, Baratheons, and Starks are all just spokes on a wheel. As for her, she won't be a part of the wheel, instead, she says, "I'm going to break the wheel."

The second newly released preview for season 5 highlights the cast talking about what's to come when the show returns. There's Emilia Clarke (Daenerys Targaryen) saying that the show is a lot bigger this time. Sophie Turner (Sansa Stark) says that storylines will overlap this season. Alfie Allen (Theon Greyjoy), on the other hand, says the characters that haven't spent time together will do so in season 5. Also, there's Nikolaj Coster-Waldau (Jamie Lannister) saying that his character is "off books" this season.

Speaking of videos, there is also that intense preview that shows Jon Snow and Mance Rayder talking. Snow says that Mance didn't unite the people and creatures outside the wall for power and glory, but rather for survival.

He then asks, "Isn't their survival more important than your pride?"

Mance answers, "F*** my pride," and the video ends. What will he decide on next?

"Game of Thrones" season 5 will premiere on April 12 on HBO.
