'Game of Thrones' season 5 episode 9 spoilers: Will Shireen meet her demise in 'A Dance of Dragons'?

Next week's installment of "Game of Thrones" season 5 will be its penultimate. The episode titled "A Dance of Dragons," needless to say, will be mostly about Daenerys, who will "reluctantly" watch the Great Games down at the fighting pits. It is in the same pits Drogon will show up and run riot.

Despite the episode's focus on Dany, the other characters' share of the story will be interesting to see. Stannis, for one, will face a "troubling" decision, which might lead to the death of his own daughter. Shireen's death is foreshadowed in the previous "Game of Thrones" episodes.

Shireen is said to be his father's sacrificial lamb as he attempts to win the North. Ramsay has plans to attack the Stannis camp and he might be successful in making her a casualty. Vanity Fair once said that this attack could possibly urge Stannis to burn his own daughter alive to gain triumph.

Meanwhile, there were also promo photos of Arya with Jaqen H'ghar in House of Black and White. In "Game of Thrones" season 5 episode 9, the Stark daughter will come across someone from the past and Melty hopes that it will be the Hound.

Fans last saw Arya's traveling companion dying but not dead. The site points out that his death isn't confirmed yet and this might be because he is still alive and that he will be the one whom Arya is destined to meet in the installment.

In the same episode, Jon goes back to The Wall only to be welcomed by the unhappy faces of his Night's Watchmen, who most likely be dismayed knowing their head has returned with Wildlings, the same people who killed some of their brothers and looted villages at the south.

"Game of Thrones" season 5 episode 9 "A Dance of Dragons" airs Jun. 7.
