As the premiere episode of "Game of Thrones" season 5 draws near, two new short clips were released by HBO to tease fans further about what is in store in the next installment of the epic fantasy drama series based on George R.R. Martin's bestselling novels.

The brief videos follow "The Sight" theme in which blurry images are showcased. Just like the earlier teaser videos for the upcoming season, the new ones only share a very short clip wherein some of the characters speak a portion of their dialogues.

One of the latest clips involves Jon Snow (Kit Harington). He is seen talking to Mance Ryder (Ciaran Hinds), the leader of the Wildlings who is now in detention. The Night's Watch brother seems to be convincing Mance about something.

He says, "You spent your life convincing the clans to come together for the first time in history. A life's work uniting them. You didn't do it for power. You didn't do it for glory. You brought them together to save them. Isn't their survival more important than you pride?"

But the former Night's Watchman denies that he is full of pride just before the video is cut off.

Meanwhile, the other clip features Brienne of Tarth (Gwendoline Christie) and her faithful squire Podrick Payne (Daniel Portman). The two seem to be taking a break from travelling to find Arya Stark (Maisie Williams). Brienne tells Podrick that she is not the type of person who should be a leader.

"All I ever wanted was to follow a Lord I believed in. But the good Lords are dead and the rest are monsters," the lady warrior says.

Aside from the new clips, HBO also released the first official poster for the upcoming season. In the poster, the fugitive Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) is standing face-to-face with Drogon, one of the three dragons of Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke). Does this mean that Tyrion and Daenerys will finally encounter one another?

The premiere episode of "Game of Thrones" season 5 airs April 12 on HBO.
