Before the airing of the season 6 premiere episode, Maisie Williams finally laid a fan-favorite "Game of Thrones" theory to rest.

In an interview with IGN, the actress admitted that she also thought about the fate of her character Arya Stark's first sword trainer Syrio Forel (Miltos Yerolemou).

Syrio was last seen protecting Arya when a group of Lannister guardsmen attacked them in season 1, but fans are not sure if Syrio survived the attack or not. Some believe that he is still alive, and the actress did, too.

"I always was like, Oh, no, I feel like he's still alive," the actress said in the interview. "I always had my own theory that he and Jaqen were the same person."

Williams shared that she directly asked showrunners David Benioff and D.B. Weiss about her theory, but they bluntly told her that Syrio was definitely dead.

"I was like, 'Oh, OK,'" the actress said while laughing. "So that put that to bed really quickly, but I guess we can all still dream."

Williams is still hoping that Syrio could still be alive in the ongoing book series written by George R.R. Martin.

"Maybe if it's not on the show, it will be in the book, and that will be great," she said.

Meanwhile, actor John Bradley shared a brand-new footage with TV comedian Conan O'Brien on Tuesday night's "Conan" episode.

In the new footage, Bradley's character Samwell Tarly and his girlfriend Gilly (Hannah Murray) are seen travelling on a boat on the way to Oldtown to study at the Citadel in his quest to replace Aemon Targaryen (Peter Vaughan) as the Maester of the Watch. But in the trailer, Sam seems to be experiencing seasickness while Gilly appears to be showcasing her newfound intelligence as a result of her boyfriend's teachings.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 is slated to premiere on Sunday, April 24, on HBO.
