Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow in "Game of Thrones," has come forward in admitting that he did film new scenes for season 6 despite his character dying at the very end of season 5. Speaking to Time Out, the actor confirmed that he did film in Belfast for season 6 but still claimed his character was dead.

"Look, I'm not in the show any more. I'm definitely not in the new series. I filmed some scenes of me being dead - it's some of my best work," the actor stated in a jokingly manner. When asked if he knew the plot direction for season 6, he stated, "I don't have a clue. I know how long I'm a corpse for, but I can't tell you that."

The latest trailer for season 6, courtesy of Entertainment Weekly, seems to indicate that there will be scenes involving Jon Snow's corpse, but that doesn't entirely mean the character won't be coming back to life in some manner.

The trailer shows Jon laid on a table, with the Onion Knight Ser Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) getting hold of Jon's sword and telling the members of the Night's Watch to bear witness of what's to come, hinting that Lady Melisandre (Carice van Houten) may indeed use her powers to bring Jon Snow back to life.

Harington's statements do not address the leaked photos of him filming in what appears to be the set of Castle Winterfell. In the photos, he is donning the uniform of House Stark. While this may all be a flashback, fans will quickly point out that no such battle had occured during Jon's younger years and while Ned (Sean Bean) was still alive.

These leaked photos and Jon's appearance in the trailer, along with Harington's confirmation that he did film new scenes, all point to the possibility of Jon Snow coming back in one form or another.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres this April 24.
