"Game of Thrones" season 6 will have Jon Snow (Kit Harington) surviving the multiple stab wounds he received during the season 5 finale. A leaked image posted by the Daily Mail showcases Harrington in his costume with a sword by his hip as he prepares to film a scene in Northern Ireland.

Upon further inspection, the leaked image reveals that Jon Snow is no longer clothed in his black attires, which would indicate he is no longer a part of the Night's Watch. Fans speculate that his death and resurrection would free him from his oath, as the words the Night's Watch members recite bind them to the brotherhood to their death.

Instead, Kit's costume is more reminscent of the clothes worn by the Starks, indicating that after his resurrection, Jon Snow may be the new leader of the Stark family. He may lead a siege to rescue his half-sister Sansa (Sophie Turner) who is currently imprisoned in Winterfell, a storyline from the books not yet adapted on the show.

The leaked image also shows a woman under an umbrella, and it is presumed to be actress Carice van Houten, who plays the red priestess Melisandre. Fans speculate that Melisandre will use her mystic powers to revive Jon Snow, similar to how the red priest Thoros (Paul Kaye) revived Beric Dondarrion (Richard Dormer).

Rumors of Snow's return have been circulating for some time; as previously reported, the actor was spotted at the Belfast airport and was also seen with some of his fellow co-stars.

Despite the leaked photos, there are is no official confirmation of Snow's return from HBO or author George R.R. Martin. The revelation of Snow's fate will be revealed in the next book, "The Winds of Winter." However, the book has no official release date as of this moment, although it is speculated to hit book shelves before season 6 of the show premieres.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 premieres in Spring 2016.
