Ned Stark will make a comeback in the upcoming season of HBO's hit series "Game Of Thrones," but he will not be portrayed by Sean Bean. Reports have been claiming that an English actor will act as the younger version of the popular character.

Fan website Watchers On The Wall reveals that 13-year-old Sebastian Croft has been tapped to play Stark when he was still a little boy. The British actor will apparently be seen in a flashback, but no other details have been released yet about the scene where he will be appearing.

Speculations that the king of the north will return in the series, albeit a small boy, surfaced after the website claimed that producers were looking for an actor with similar characteristics as Ned's — dark brown hair, a narrow face, and green eyes. Aside from the physical description, the casting call reportedly required the artist to have a northern accent.

According to the International Business Times, Croft has an extensive background in theater work. Among his previous credits include a stint in "Matilda" and "Les Miserables," both London West End productions. He also played the lead role in "Oliver" and "The Secret Diary Of Adrian Mole Aged 13¾" musical version.

Meanwhile, another cast of the series is bound to return "in the near future." HNGN reports that David Bradley will reprise his role as the villainous Walder Frey.

"He will be coming back, but I can't say when. I can't really say because things are in a delicate situation," the actor said during the TCA press tour.

Viewers saw how evil Frey could be during the betrayal of Robb Stark, his wife, and Catelyn. Bradley's character was the one who carried out Tywin Lannister's plan to end the North's attempt to overthrow the Lannisters and seize the crown.

"Game of Thrones" season 6 is slated to return in spring of 2016.
