The award-winning, violent and political series "Game of Thrones" is set to comeback with its penultimate season that will run three episodes less than the usual. With season 6 ending with Cersei (Lena Headey) destroying the Sept of Baelor by wildfire and Daenerys (Emilia Clarke) getting ready to sail to Westeros with her army and dragons, "Game of Thrones" season 7 is sure to pack a lot of action and reveals to keep the fans latching on to the edge of their seats.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 is drawing near and the rumor mill is abuzz with gossip and spoilers. To satisfy some of the fans of HBO's "Game of Thrones," Conleth Hill, who plays the gossip-loving Varys, shared some of his thoughts about the much-anticipated season.

When asked about whether there will be a confrontation between Cersei and Daenerys or not in "Game of Thrones" season 7, Hill practiced self-control and told reporters that he can't say anything about it. But he had much to share about which side he's going to be taking.

"I don't [think about it], to be honest. I think Cersei's a bad article [Irish slang for a person] sometimes. But what's brilliant about it is that they're all human. You could argue that Cersei did what she did and blew up the Great Sept [in Season 6] because she was being abused by the High Sparrow and his people. It's not as easy to be black-and-white about it. Look at how people thought about Jaime [Lannister] at the beginning versus now. It's always changing — that's what is so brilliant about the books and the series," said Hill in an interview with Newsweek.

Fans may expect a confrontation but no official announcement has been made about it yet.

Meanwhile, TV Line reports that there may be five possible spin-offs for "Game of Thrones" that seek to explore George R.R. Martin's fictional but complicated universe. Details say that the "Game of Thrones" spin-offs will be prequels instead of sequels for the popular TV series. No release date has been revealed but fans can, in the meantime, focus on the upcoming "Game of Thrones" season 7.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 will air on July 16.
