'Game of Thrones' season 7 spoilers update: Maisie Williams teases shocking plot

Maisie Williams dropped hints that the plot for "Game of Thrones" season 7 will be very different from the previous ones.

After reading the scripts for the upcoming season, the 19-year-old British actress expressed her excitement on Twitter, warning her followers that "nothing will prepare" them from the shocking events in the next installment of the series.

"Just finished reading season 7," the actress tweeted, "s--t gets REAL."

In season 6, Williams' character Arya Stark had just escaped the clutches of The Waif as she traveled out of Braavos to return to Westeros. Her sister Sansa (Sophie Turner) and half-brother Jon Snow (Kit Harington) were also reunited, and they managed to reclaim Winterfell from the evil clutches of Ramsay Bolton (Iwan Rheon). Will the Stark siblings finally find their way to each other in season 7?

In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Harington teased that "If there's any sort of win or heroic moment for Jon and everyone else. I think it's going to get very dark before it gets better. I think what we might see this season is those White Walkers and that Army of the Dead really come into force."

Meanwhile, the series is looking for actors who will portray the roles of a general, a priest, a warrior, a merchant, a young lord, a lovely lady, a lieutenant, a gate guard, and a city guard.

Based on the character descriptions, all the new characters need to have a British accent. This could mean that they might be living in the King's Landing. However, there is no information regarding the duration of the characters' stay in season 7.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 is confirmed to be the second-to-the-last installment of the HBO adaptation of George R.R. Martin's "A Song of Ice and Fire" book novels. It is expected to premiere sometime in 2017.
