"Game of Thrones" season 7 is almost just a couple of months away, but fans know nothing like Kit Harrington's Jon Snow as to what is going to go down in the highly anticipated return of HBO's hit fantasy drama. However, that is just because all of the actors have been sworn to secrecy.

Since some of the cast members have slipped up in the past, secrecy has become stricter now for "Game of Thrones" season 7 to avoid any spoilers of any form from getting out. Nathalie Emmanuel, who plays Missandei on the show, recently shared her experience on the set.

"They've definitely tightened up who has scripts and how we're given them," said Emmanuel, as reported by The Sun.

"You have to look at it digitally. They won't send it to us unless our emails have a two-step verification. You might get given rehearsal notes on set, but you have to sign for and return them before you leave. If you don't, people will chase you until you give them back!"

While Emmanuel cannot give out any spoilers since her job "depends on it," she revealed that she and co-star Emilia Clarke, who plays Daenerys Targaryen, were in Spain for filming. She also gave some clues as to how important Missandei is going to be in the upcoming season.

"This season, Missandei has some pretty cool stuff to do. Her role as an advisor is becoming more and more important and the stakes are higher," she explained. "War is coming, and there's real danger."

In other news, another "Game of Thrones" star has also shared her own experience on the set with regard to the secrecy oath that the actors are apparently required to take. Speaking with InStyle, Sophie Turner, who plays Sansa Stark, confessed that she has been having a difficult time keeping everything about the show a secret all the time.

"I have to be careful because I'm such a blabbermouth," she expressed. "I'm so passionate about the show, and it has been my life for so long that it's become real to me. So whenever people ask me about it, I want to tell them everything!"

Several fan theories are out there as to what is going to happen in the upcoming season, but until the show hits the small screens again and fans get to watch all the action and drama unfold, nothing is quite certain for now.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 premieres on July 16 on HBO.
