'Game of Thrones' season 7 release date rumors, spoilers: New reports dunk Sansa Stark pregnancy rumors

Sansa Stark from HBO's "Game of Thrones"HBO

With the seventh season of the highly popular HBO television series, "Game of Thrones," now confirmed to be coming out next year, several spoiler reports have been coming out of the wood work with different claims on the likely events that will be transpiring in the new episodes. One of the most popular rumors, however, is the possible pregnancy of the oldest Stark daughter, Sansa, played by Sophie Turner.

Fans will remember that Sansa was forced to share a bed with the Bastard of House Bolton, Ramsay Bolton, played by Iwan Rheon. There was even a controversial scene of Sansa's rape during an episode in season 5. Aside from Sansa's time in the sack with Ramsay, a line of dialogue from Ramsay at the finale episode of season 6 was taken by fans as proof that Sansa will indeed be carrying Ramsay's baby in season 7.

At the final episode of the previous season, Ramsay mentioned this line to Sansa before he died, "You can't kill me, I'm part of you now." The line of dialogue immediately sparked rumors about Sansa's possible pregnancy. However, new reports have revealed that there may be no truth to the rumors. One particular report from the 'Watchers on the Wall' fan website is claiming that Sansa will in fact not be pregnant as she will apparently be put in charge of Winterfell in the absence of her brother, Jon Snow, played by Kit Harington.

Tuner's co-star, Liam Cunningham, who plays the role Ser Davos, also debunked the rumors in a recent interview by saying that there was no way Ramsay could have known if Sansa was indeed pregnant as there wasn't any "Game of Thrones' pregnancy sticks" available at that time. Cunningham also explained his take on Ramsay's final words and mentioned that what he meant was most likely about the psychological damage that was done to her during their time together.

"Game of Thrones" season 7 is scheduled to return with new episodes in summer 2017.
