After their near encounter at the Battle of Blackwater at the end of season 2, it may seem that Stannis Baratheon's (Stephen Dillane) former right hand man Ser Davos Seaworth (Liam Cunningham) and Tyrion Lannister (Peter Dinklage) may finally come face to face.

It is uncertain how the meeting will come about as Tyrion was responsible for the Lannisters' victory in the battle, which killed Ser Davos' son, Screencrush reported.

A lot of time has passed since Blackwater, and both men have since found themselves allied with new contenders for the throne with Ser Davos serving as one of the advisers of the King of the North Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and Tyrion taking the side of the Mother of Dragons Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke).

The rumored meeting is expected to take place in Dragonstone and whether or not the meet will be peaceful will have to depend on the terms.

Gendry (Joe Dempsie) — the bastard son of King Robert Baratheon — has also been reportedly spotted in Dragonstone after many seasons at sea and it is unknown how strong his claim to the throne will be if he decides to pursue it.

Meanwhile, a Screenrant report has also hinted that there is a huge possibility that Daenerys and Jon Snow will meet in Dragonstone. Many fans are speculating that it is a given since they attribute the title of the saga "A Song of Ice and Fire" to the two characters with Jon Snow being from the North where it is cold while Daenerys is known as the Mother of Dragons and has command of the only remaining dragons in Westeros.

It has also been mentioned that with the confirmation of Jon Snow's parentage in the finale of last season that the two potential rulers of the Seven Kingdom could join forces to take down Cersei Lannister (Lena Headey).

In the finale of season 6, it was revealed that Lyanna Stark was Jon's true mother and that his father — while still unconfirmed — could be Rhaegar Targaryen, the older brother of Daenerys.
