"Game of Thrones" theorists might be on to something after watching the Super Bowl ad for Doritos featuring Peter Dinklage, as a lot of them have suggested that it may have hinted his Targaryen lineage.

The Doritos ad shows Dinklage taking a bite off a Doritos Spitfire chip, which is supposedly a spicy new flavor. Afterward, the fireplace behind the actor burst into wild flames that spread all over the room while Dinklage lip-synched Busta Rhymes' "Look at Me Now" rap. This was what gave away the supposed association to Dinklage's "Game of Thrones" character Tyrion Lannister, who has long been rumored to be a Targaryen.

It can be recalled that the sigil and motif of the fictional House Targaryen of "Game of Thrones" is a fire-breathing dragon, and the clan has been associated with fire as their symbolic emblem. Though this is somewhat of a stretch since it may have been just a coincidence that Dinklage was chosen to advertise the said flavor for Doritos. Nevertheless, fans will pick up any possible clue for a spoiler for the hugely popular "Game of Thrones" and its upcoming 8th season.

In the Doritos commercial, viewers may notice that Dinklage seems to be quite immune to the flames around him and it just so happens that Targaryens are immune to fire and heat, as demonstrated by Daenerys Targaryen (Emilia Clarke) in the show. Dinklage pretty much emerged from the flames caused by Doritos Spitfire unscathed, which some fans took as a suggestion of something related to future happenings in "Game of Thrones."

Theories also suggest the prophecy of the three Targaryen heirs, one is Daenerys, the second is Jon Snow (Kit Harrington) and the third one is speculated to be Tyrion since he is the strongest candidate right now.

Regardless of how ridiculous the commercial's implications might have been, Dinklage is certainly not shying away from the possibility. Here's what he had to say: "You know, I would love to say that, but I love when fans come up with their own theories. They make theories about everything, and it's a lot of fun — people's minds at work. Going in, no, it wasn't supposed to be any sort of relationship to 'Game of Thrones,' but I would never derail any theories about anything."
