With the HBO hit series "Game of Thrones" coming to an end with the series' eighth and final season, 20-year-old British actress Maisie Williams thinks she will have a hard time landing another good role because of the lack of diversity in the entertainment industry.

In an interview with Irish Times, Williams shared her disappointment with Hollywood's beauty standards and its effect on the roles she will be given in the future. She said that she had started to realize the lack of available roles for her because of her appearance which does not fit the beauty standards Hollywood has set. "It's a very shallow industry. And I don't look like someone who is cast in roles that are, well, sexualised. Don't get me wrong. I'm completely in awe of Hollywood's leading ladies. I love looking at those totally jaw-droppingly beautiful women. But I think it's sad that you only get to see one type of beautiful on screen," she added.

While Williams "love" beautiful lead actresses, she thinks there is a need for a change in what is considered "beautiful" in the industry. Like Jennifer Lawrence, Miley Cyrus, Gina Rodriguez and Demi Lovato, she is "tired" of Hollywood's unrealistic beauty standards and is calling out for more diversity.

She also expressed her dismay over the sexualization of what is seen to be "beautiful" in Hollywood. This is not the first time Williams talked about the sexualization of young actresses. Last year, she talked about how actresses who are still in their teenage years are "forced"  to play roles that are far more mature than their ages because the industry favors "young, sexy women."

Meanwhile, Williams will be occupied this year filming for the final season of "Game of Thrones." In an interview with Metro for her role as Goona in the upcoming animated film, "Early Man," Williams shared that filming for the eighth and final season of the HBO hit series will end by December and that the first episode will air in 2019.
