The details about the highly anticipated sequel to the video game adaptation of HBO's "Game of Thrones" have finally been unveiled.

According to the previous updates from Telltale, the developer of the video game based on author George R.R. Martin's famous novels, a new episode for the game is due to come out soon, and it will bear the title "The Lost Lords." This new episode will follow the events in the widely successful first installment of the game, titled "Iron From Ice," wherein players have to play the role of one of the five different characters from the House of Forrester. They are to use their chosen character for the duration of all six episodes of the game. House Forrester is not mentioned in the HBO version but Martin introduced them in his books.

Telltale decided to create the game in a per-episode basis to let the players experience a brand new story that is different from what the HBO series has been showing on television to avoid the premeditated outcome of the game.

Alhough Telltale failed to provide information about the actual release date of the game, the developer is expected to unveil the news sometime during the first two weeks of January.

Meanwhile, several reports started to surface online about an alleged new "dark" role playing game based on "Game of Thrones," which is being developed by a different company. Big Bad Wolf, the same team behind the "World of Warcraft" and "Styx: Master of Shadows," is reportedly coming up with the new game. However, the news is still vague at this point, and there is no verified information about the supposed dark RPG game.

On a related note, the fifth season of the TV series "Game of Thrones" will be aired this summer on HBO.
