As it has been feared, the diabolican character Cesar Faison, played by Anders Hove, has once again returned to Port Charles to wreak havoc in the ABC soap opera television series, "General Hospital." Although Faison is known to be one of the most evil characters to have ever come on the show, his intentions may not be as bad this time around.

On Tuesday, Jan. 23, is the day that audiences will witness the return of Faison, in the flesh. The reveal occurs when Liesl Olbrecht, played by Kathleen Gati, regains her consciousness, and sees the villain after a very long time with a look of horror and disbelief on her face. It is indeed Liesl's worst nightmare that Faison himself is responsible for her kidnapping, and is kept at one of the stables on Spoon Island.

Fans of the show, and Faison, will be happy to know that he is as sinister as he was in the previous seasons, which is why Liesl will be crippled with fear, especially after all her transgressions toward him. It is notable to mention that audiences should not expect Faison to be wreaking havoc for very long, since it is expected that he will be killed off once again some time in February.

In addition to Faison, Nathan West, who is played by Ryan Paevey, will be departing soon as well. It is possible that the reson why Faison abducted Liesl in the first place and returned to Port Charles is because he already knows that Nathan is his son -- if this is true, then Faison could be furious that this information was kept from him.

This narrative is a good setup for what is to come next, since Peter August, played by Wes Ramsey, will want to swoop in and stop his father, Faison's plans from coming into fruition -- and may even be the cause of Faison and Nathan's demise.

"General Hospital" airs every weekday at 2 pm EST on ABC.
