A whirlwind of new developments is set to take action in this week's top-rated medical drama series "General Hospital" starting with Peter (Wes Ramsey) and Lulu's (Emme Rylan) budding romance and Dante's (Dominic Zamprogna) growing suspicions regarding the two.

According to speculations based on the show's current storyline, Dante and Lulu's relationship is in troubled waters. The two's less than tasteful confrontation hints at a brewing romance between Peter and Lulu -- with the latter seeking refuge in the former's comfort.

It can be recalled that Dante's fury against his wife Lulu stemmed from an article she wrote about Faison (Anders Hove), which lured him out of hiding and eventually caused Nathan's (Ryan Paevey) death -- Dante's best friend and partner.

Lulu's frustrations will continually grow as she finds herself not only blamed by Dante but also her best friend Maxie (Kirsten Storms) as the primary instigator of Nathan's death.

Spoilers point to Peter as the root cause of all this drastic turn of events as he manipulated Lulu from publishing intimate information about Nathan's origins.

Spoilers also divulge that Peter knows more than he lets on, and that Peter and Jason (Steve Burton) are going to work together behind the scenes.

This twist and turns will make Dante more aware of Peter's cunning manipulation and his suspicions will continue to grow until he finds out the truth.

"General Hospital" is the longest-running daytime soap opera on American TV show premiering in 1963.

Fans who want to get in on the drama can catch the show weekdays at 2 p.m. on ABC.
