Long-running drama "General Hospital" has spoilers that promise a week of cunning and deceit, featuring misdirection from Valentin Cassadine (played by James Patrick Stuart) and Peter August (played by Wes Ramsey).

The scene in question involves Cassadine, August, and Anna Devane (played by Finola Hughes). It seems that Devane is trying to follow August around Port Charles as the latter hides under the alias "Henrik."

Cassadine talked Devane into believing that her child with Cesar Faison (played by Anders Hove) is a girl. As a result, Devane backed off of August, leaving "Henrik" free to stay to help Drew Cain (played by Billy Miller) regain his memories.

However, August still has a problem because helping Drew recover memories means that he has to reveal his existence in those memories, as well.

August's solution involves helping recover only part of Drew's memories, deliberately erasing details that portrayed Faison and himself. He erases files that contain memories of him and Faison, and gives back the rest to Drew via a flash drive.

August also managed to return the flash drive with the memories with minimal risk to his life. He does this by staging a scene involving Jason Morgan (played by Steve Burton) "accidentally" finding the said flash drive.

However, there is still dissent coming from Sam Cain (played by Kelly Monaco). She thinks that it is a bad idea for Drew to get his memories re-mapped, saying that it is too risky.

She is mostly worried that reprogramming Drew's memory could mean that it will mess up the man's memories of Port Charles that were made during the past year. Despite Sam's concerns, Morgan still gives the flash drive to Drew, which enraged the woman.

As for Drew, he apparently wants to learn his past enough that he decided to go on with the procedure.

"General Hospital" is one of the longest-running dramas in television history, with around 13,000 episodes and counting. It airs every weekday on ABC.
