'General Hospital': Ballot box missing, Lucas asked to run Fluke's clinic, Jake secretive about Helena

With other popular afternoon soaps busy with love and relationships, "General Hospital" continues to take a different route. In Port Charles, scheming and crimes have become the mundane and this is what the characters are mostly dealing with at the moment.

Sonny and Fluke

Sonny has grown to be very suspicious of Fluke. He once told Julian to keep an eye on him, and Julian's report makes him doubt more that the real Luke is still alive. Taking further action, Sonny asks Shawn to spy on the guy, reports TV Source Magazine

However, Fluke discovers that someone is following him. Julian warns Sonny about Shawn's task as this can put Shawn's family in danger.

The Mayoral Election

This Monday, the results for the mayoral election should be announced. But suddenly, one of the ballot boxes goes missing. Hence, the results can't be revealed yet. A tip is made and it reveals that residents in Port Charles were the ones who did it. Who would be interested in the ballot boxes?

Fluke and Lucas

Last week, Michael shared his plans to build a clinic in Fluke's childhood home. Michael calls on Lucas and asks him to run the clinic.

Jake and Helena

Jake receives another assignment from Helena and he wants to make sure that no one finds out about this. However, Sam is suspicious and shares her thoughts to Carly, leaving Carly observant of Jake's actions. Later, Jake proceeds with the assignment, but Elizabeth interrupts him.

Other Spoilers

Despite the threat of the masked man, Sam and Patrick enjoy a romantic date. Elsewhere, Nathan and Maxie talk about their future. On Jan. 19, Fluke will invite Michael and Lucas over to the house and Nina will make a new friend.
