American horror movie "Get Out" was a huge hit last year when it released and a lot of people have been wondering if the movie would get a sequel as the ending definitely had some cliffhangers. Recent reports are now saying that writer, director and producer Jordan Peele is highly considering making a sequel.

"I can tell you I will definitely, seriously consider it. I love that universe, and I feel like there is more story to tell. I don't know what it is now, but there are some loose ends," says Peele during an interview with The Hollywood Reporter. "I would never want to do a sequel that just feels like for the sake of a sequel. I would have to have a story that I feel like would take it up a notch."

As for how this second movie would go, many fans have already speculated about the potential sequel. Most of which, unsurprisingly, talk about the loose ends that the first film left for fans. Peele has also considered answering these questions too. There are characters that he knows are worth exploring more when, and if, the second movie comes out.

Even if Peele does get the inspiration to make a second movie, it obviously would not happen anytime soon. He previously admitted that it took him eight years to write the original movie. Fans could definitely see Peele's dedication to making his movies great so fans could at least give him as much time as he needs for the sake of the quality of the movie.

"Get Out" received high praise from many sources and it even got a 99% rating on Rotten Tomatoes. Most of the acclaim came from its being able to depict the race-relations in the United States. Coupled with the elements of horror and suspense, fans definitely felt like the movie left a mark on them.

"Get Out" was first released in March last year. For this year's Academy Awards, "Get Out" is nominated for Best Picture, Best Director, Best Leading Actor and Best Original Screenplay. The Academy Awards/Oscars will be held on March 4, 2018.
