After announcing that "Gilmore Girls" will return for a limited series run, Netflix finally revealed the official release date of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" through a brand-new trailer.

In the clip, Rory (Alexis Bledel) and her mother Lorelai (Lauren Graham) are engaged in another snappy banter in the usual fast-talking manner.

It seems like Lorelai got hooked to late-night cable entertainment since she wants Rory to tell her if Amy Schumer could actually like her. But Rory told her that she might not stand a chance with the actress because of Schumer's love for water sports. Avid "Gilmore Girls" fans know that the mother-daughter duo has a high aversion to sports, which is why it was not surprising that Lorelai easily dropps the subject about Schumer. However, she follows it up with a question asking if John Oliver could be attracted to her.

The trailer is also heavy on nostalgia as it features some of the most memorable places in the fictional town of Stars Hollow. It includes shots from the façade of Luke's Diner, the Doose Market and the Gazebo.

Meanwhile, actor Milo Ventimiglia talked about the changes in his character Jess Mariano when he returns to Stars Hollow in the four-part special of "Gilmore Girls" on Netflix.

"He grew up and he turned into a really decent guy," the actor said in an interview with Elle. "In terms of what are the lessons he went through, I think he had to have life lived. I think he had to experience heartbreak, he had to experience happiness, he had to experience all these things that we all come across in life, but we can only measure the scale of them when we have time."

Ventimiglia also believes that Jess became a cool young guy after he experienced life over the years.

Netflix will drop all the four episodes of "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" on Nov. 25.
