Netflix blessed fans with more episodes of "Gilmore Girls" with the November 2016 revival, "A Year in the Life." Although fans already knew the final four words in the ending, as previously teased by creator Amy Sherman-Palladino, the cliffhanger conclusion still had most viewers craving for more.

Thankfully, another season is still possible. Having just signed a new deal with Amazon, Sherman-Palladino revealed that a follow-up to "Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life" could very well happen.

"We carved out a little niche for ourselves with Amazon saying that if we ever want to do it, if the girls and us get together and we have a concept that works, then we have the freedom to do it," she explained in an interview with RadioTimes.

However, before fans get excited, nothing is set in stone just yet. Sherman-Palladino said that the new season would have to be under "the right circumstances," although she is frequently in contact with several of the series' stars, which makes another reunion seem more likely.

"I saw Lauren [Graham] and Kelly [Bishop] — we had lunch last week," she shared, adding: "I talked to Alexis [Bledel] the week before."

Whether or not more "Gilmore Girls" episodes are coming, the series creator appears to be satisfied with how the revival turned out. She told the publication the team feels great about it and are happy to see where things go. While the mini-series felt frantic, unlike the original, Sherman-Palladino said they still enjoyed the experience.

Currently, the cast of "Gilmore Girls" are busy with their non-Stars Hollow life, but the majority of them are on board with the idea of reprising their roles for another season. While Graham is still quite hesitant, Bledel and Scott Patterson are willing to portray Rory Gilmore and Luke Danes respectively again.

In the meantime, fans can catch up with the four-part "A Year in the Life" which is available for streaming on Netflix. Set nearly a decade after the finale of the original series, it follows Lorelai (Graham), Rory (Bledel), and Emily Gilmore (Bishop) through four seasons of change.
