The revival of the "Gilmore Girls" series has already finished filming, so with its entire cast, crew and creators preparing for their press tour, rumors have already sprung up, saying that the show's release date will finally be revealed.

According to Melty, fans have been patiently waiting for when the revival will be released. As such, despite the rumors of this series premiering on a specific holiday, the same article reports that it is most likely that the confirmed release date will be revealed on July 27, during the Television Critics Association Press Tour.

This is highly logical, since this will be the first ever promotional appearance of Amy Sherman-Palladino, the series' writer and creator, so revealing the release date of this series will be perfect timing. Fans will certainly appreciate this revelation, since fans are certainly pumped up due to the four 90-minute episodes this series will offer, with each episode representing a season of the year.

According to Vine Report, while a lot of fans think that the new "Gilmore Girls" series is already too late, the actress Lauren Graham, who plays Lorelai Gilmore, said that the revival has more underneath its surface. She even went so far as to say that this series is incredibly satisfying. She added that the series gave her a feeling of nostalgia.

"I think they were some of the most wonderful episodes we've ever had and it feels brand new but still the same show," she said in an interview with ABC News.

Graham is not shy to profess her love for the show, even the original one, which ran from October 2000 to May 2007. With the show to be released later this year, fans are excited about how enthusiastic this actress will be as she plays the role of one of the Gilmore girls.
