Scott Patterson has confirmed that Luke and Lorelai are definitely together in the Gilmore Girls upcoming Netflix revival.

In an all-new interview with People Magazine at the Kiehl's National LifeRide for amfAR celebration in New York City, Patterson, 57, stated: "I can tell you that we are together. We are together and we're sort of figuring out our next step." Though Patterson didn't share much" information regarding Gilmore Girls: A Year in the Life, this one juicy titbit can mean quite a few possibilities.

So, are Luke and Lorelai making the relationship work? The Luke and Lorelai relationship has been an on off kind. But Luke, recently said that the couple's relationship is "really ramped up and the stakes are much higher". This could mean that there is a possibility of a re-engagement or even a marriage.

The other rumour that has fan up on their toes has to do with Lorelai expecting a baby. The internet has been lit up since the official Gilmore Girls Instagram page hinted that Lorelai could be pregnant. It posted a promotional photo of an oddly placed plate of sugary Pop-Tarts with an solitary apple in the middle on August 2. Now, every Gilmore Girls fan remembers the episode where the only time Lorelai ever craved an apple was when she was pregnant with Rory. Also, Lorelai shirt in the first trailer read "I am with Human" which could be another big hint.

However, all this symbolism could also mean that Rory is pregnant with her first baby, and like her mother suffers from the same apple cravings in her pregnancy. Another theory believes that both could be expecting a baby at the same time. Now that would be huge!

Well the only way to find out is to keep our eyes and ears open when Gilmore Girls: A Year In The Life premieres on Netflix on Nov. 25.
