Fans won't readily get answers about the reignited love triangle affair in "Girl Meets World" season 2. The last time fans saw the gang, Riley's lingering feelings about Lucas were thrown out in the open during the group's countdown to 2016.

But the writers behind the hit Disney Channel series are already giving fans a heads up about how the show will handle this curve. "Minor issues resolve quickly. This won't," they tweeted, teasing that "If you know us, you know we'll do much more than a triangle. This all began in the pilot."

From the looks of it, "Girl Meets World" season 2 will not provide a resolution for this dilemma anytime soon. In fact, Carter Matt sees this storyline stretching all the way to the third season, considering the revelation that there's more it than meets the eye.

For all fans know, they probably only just scratched the surface about this issue. However, viewers can at least expect allusions to the problem, not to mention the changes inflicted on their friendship by Farkle's revelation about Riley's true feelings.

According to IB Times, Lucas seems to care so much about Riley and Maya and the best friends themselves won't think twice about giving the way to the other, no matter who the guy they are head over heels in love for ends up choosing.

However, with what the writers stated, it seems like it is too early to figure that out yet. When "Girl Meets World" season 2 returns on air, fans will be treated with an episode titled "Girl Meets STEM." Here, Riley focuses on proving to taunting boys that she can handle a science experiment.

In this episode, the group of friends will be pairing up for their Chemistry class. Maya is paired with Lucas while Riley finds herself teaming up with Farkle on this one. The story will ultimately deal with feminism.
