Riley (Rowan Blanchard) will have a challenging homework in the next episode of "Girl Meets World" season 3.

According to the synopsis for the episode titled "Girl Meets Sassy Haltertop," the daughter of Cory (Ben Savage) and Topanga (Danielle Fishel) will have to make a discerning choice for a school assignment.

The synopsis reads:

"Riley has trouble with her debate assignment when she must argue if people are naturally good or evil."

The said homework could also make her reflect on her current situation since she is presently dealing with a lot of issues with her best friend Maya (Sabrina Carpenter).

In the trailer for the upcoming episode, Riley seems to be prepping to drop a big bomb that could shock Maya.

"And now I have to tell you something... it's gonna shake you up real good," Riley says.

Rumors about the real-life rift between Blanchard and Carpenter have been going around, and it reportedly caused the show's impending cancellation after season 3. But Blanchard denied the claims in an interview with Teen Vogue.

"I just wrapped and was informed that there were horrendous rumors spread about me and our cast," the actress said. "I don't usually comment on anything like this, but I have spent the last half hour crying, confused as to why someone can stoop to such a low level to try to ruin the life of someone they don't [know] personally."

She also mentioned that she will never fake a friendship, and she and the rest of the cast members of the show are genuinely close to each other.

"The cast and I love each other more than anything, we all have had a hard time this week because of it being our possible last week. It has only been hugging and reminiscing and loving each other," Blanchard added.

"Girl Meets World" season 3 episode 11 is slated to air on Friday, Aug. 19, on Disney Channel.
